Industry SLC Office is an adaptive reuse of a 1940s industrial brick building, formerly used as a foundry. Located in the heart of Salt Lake City's Granary District, an area poised for revitalization and repositioning, it offers creative office and light industrial space to entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses. At full build-out, Industry Office will include ~345,000 SF of mixed-use development.

  • Impact Thesis:

    • Flexible incubator space that offers tenants rent at different price points, adaptive re-use of an industrial building in a blighted neighborhood

    • Complete adaptive reuse of existing structure with greater than 50% of the existing structure retained

    • Contribute to the comprehensive community master plan for the Granary District

    • Create new job opportunities in the neighborhood and offer a desirable creative office option to local businesses, which may otherwise look at relocating

    • Provide value to the community through improving walkability and accessibility as well as offering event space to nonprofit organizations for outreach and education
